The 38 Geary is an overcrowded, stinky bus that runs east to west in San Francisco. Last time I rode the 38 the two dudes sitting in the back corners were literally smoking crack. I say literally because the term “smoking crack” gets thrown around a lot, but these guys were actually smoking crack, in real life, right there on the bus. The bus doesn’t really seem like the best place to smoke your crack. For one thing, it’s bouncing all around and you gotta hold that foil and your pipe and lighter all at the same time.
